LINK CREW

Week 5?

Fantastic job everyone on Grade 9 Day! It was a great event with lots of fun! I heard the dance went well also. Sorry I couldn't be there...I had an unexpected event happen. I would have loved to see you all dancing and having fun.

This week....

Monday: debrief Grade 9 Day and self evaluation. Mrs Murdock will try to be there so we can give her feedback about the events and structure.

Tuesday: September Celebration! Let's celebrate our hard work.

Wednesday: Pull a Grade 9 from MSIP and work with him or her. Each leader will pick a linker who they feel needs their help. 

Thursday: LLET

Friday: Let's start planning AFU and SFU for October. One group will get started on their portfolio.

Orientation Questions NOT in journal. Should be typed in a separate document or nicely hand written. Due no later than Thursday.

Hi!

 

I hope you are getting some rest after the busy week. I am including for you to post/share with the others the first journal entry based on Orientation.  If you are able, feel free to copy and paste my comments for the class to see.

Thank you everyone for such great work during training and at Orientation! I look forward to hearing even more stories about your experiences—I'm sure they are entertaining!  Here is the Orientation Reflection I would like you to discuss in your journal. While you will have a more detailed question sheet to fill in regarding Orientation, here are a few questions for you as I am curious about your experience in this first experience with your Grade 9 students.

 

1. The Linker that made an impression on you?

2.  Who introduced themselves first?

3.  Which activities did you run/how did it go?

4.  What problems did you have to solve?

5.  Who in your group is shy, funny?

6.  Where did you need more time?

7.  What did you forget?
